No, not a wee glass pre-run (although I recall Alan Wells saying he used to have a wee sherry before races - didn't mention that BBC did you?!).
It's that Jacob is in Madeira representing GB Juniors in the European Mountain Running Champs. His race start is 9.30am - no time zone difference. I haven't seen anything online yet about coverage but European Athletics are usually pretty good. Last year they had live chip times at checkpoints and the finish via a link on their website. There are also usually regular tweets from the likes of mountainrunninguk and corsainmontagna. I'll update this early Sat morning if I find anything.
