After her nightmare 2-day solo journey to Budapest and a late night arrival the day before the race Sarah McCormack collected a team gold with her Ireland team. Sarah (3rd from left) finished 36th and 5th of the Irish girls on the snowy 8km course in temperatures of -6C. Team-mate Fionulla Britton defended her title and the girls were tied with France but won on countback. Presentation clip here...
