On Saturday I headed over to Dunbar for the Foxtrail winter half marathon (Event details: https://foxtrailscotland.co.uk/races/race-5-half-marathon/). The course was a mixture of woodland trails, farm paths and coastal paths. Overall the course was fairly flat which compensated for the howling gale that seemed to be in your face every time you turned a corner! The final 3km stretch dropped down on to the sand at Tyninghame Beach where there was plenty of soft sand and a river crossing, this all helped to blow away the winter cobwebs. I managed to finish in 1hr 51 mins which I was happy with considering the mix of terrain. Full results are here
