A busy weekend , with Moorfoots competing in the local Deerstalker and 'adventure' race, Chapelgill Hill Race and further afield at the Alloa Half Marathon.
At the Deestalker, the Moorfoot charge was led by Darin and Colin, achieving 4th (1:20) and 11th (1:25) respectively, but unable to hold off the HBT raiders who took the first two places, well clear of the rest of the field.
The Moorfoot rearguard action was led by Mile Pearson and his daughter Kate, who finished in 3:26 (in the dark !!) - well done...
Eddie Balfour was the sole Moorfoot at the Chapelgill Hill Race, securing a good 14th place in this short and very sharp 'to the summit and back' sprint.
Out on the roads of Alloa, Johnny and Steve were battling it out - a close one this - with Johnny taking the honours this time by a slender margin in 1:23:11 (55th) against Steve's 1:23:54 (66th) - two PBs..?
And not to be out done, James has been continuing his Ultra distance training...

"I ran from Traquair to Moffat along the Southern Upland Way (about 33 miles) on Saturday. The route to the Ettrick valley makes for an excellent run, the 5 mile road stretch up the Ettrick valley into the wind was a hard slog and the final 10 miles over to Moffat is a real wilderness. The route took 5 hours."
