Moorfoots at Stuc a'Chroin

Overview of the Stuc aChroin race route

Two Moorfoots vests were on show at this years Stuc a'Chroin hill race near Callander, the first home
was worn by Andrew Cox in a good time of 2:41 (30th position), the second by myself  in a slower
paced 3:12 (74thposition).  This is a tough category AL hill race with over 5000ft of climbing covering
22km of rocky terrain. It is always well marshalled with plenty of jelly babies on hand for runners like
me who need continually drip fed sugar.
Andrew appeared to be going well,  gearing up for his Mont Blanc marathon event in the summer.

Ex Moorfoot Mike Reid was up at the sharp end finishing in 9th position (2:25).
The race was dominated by the Prasad's(Prasad and Elke) who won both the men's and ladies categories.
