Scott Wins another National title - this time road 5km gold

Another brillant performance from Scott McDonald this time picking up the Scottish road 5km gold at Silverknowes on Friday night. In an amazingly competitive field (339 athletes finished inside the 20-minute mark with the 483 finishers the largest field ever) Scott clocked 16:19 and was 1st M50 and 99th overall - he went almost 20 secs quicker than the 16:37 he ran at the same event last year when he was 3rd M50.
