Club Champs Update No 3 - Tuesday 21st May

There was a strong turn out at Gypsy Glen both of volunteers (thank you!) and runners. David Carter-Brown led the Moorfoots home picking up some bonus podium points as 1st MV40. Last night was Balerno Rigg Race with Scott Gourlay, Coreen & Mike McGovern, Andrew Fish and Jen Misak all enjoying the sunshine and trying to outrun dinosaurs and assorted other fancy-dress characters as well as some strong club runners of course! Jen picked up podium points with an FV40 win.

So feeding this all into the spreadsheet it is looking very competitive at the top end. Carol Moss still has the lead. Jen Misak has closed to second with Gillian Carr, Alex Campbell and Andrew Fish all in joint third on 55 points. 

It is a big weekend ahead with Stornaway Half & Wobbly Bridge as well of the Edinburgh Marathon Festival, which has Moorfoot interest in the 10k, Half and Marathon. It's quite possible we might even see the first claim(s) for those bonus 10 points for running a Personal Distance Race Record?
