The Bridge Inn First Friday Summer Series - Race5 Results

Warm but blustery night for race 5 of the Summer Series. Low turn out again, probably due to the summer holidays, but well done to all who took part.

Ethan Elder took honours for the Juniors with 10mins dead for the 1 lap.

The seniors had a close race with Jacob Tangey of Dumfries Running Club taking a narrow win from Kenny Whiteford, with Scott MacDonald not far behind - the three runners being neck and neck for both laps.

From a personal note, this was my first TBIFFSS race on the competitor side of the fence - everything was well organized, the course well marked and marshaled - well done Moorfoot Organizing team !!

(My race - good first lap but faded somewhat on lap two to finish 20+ seconds down on the leading trio - must get some more training in before the next one !!)
