London Marathon Good For Age Entry closes 20 June

If you've already run a full marathon in a particularly fast time, you might qualify for an automatic 'Good for Age' entry into the 2017 Virgin Money London Marathon.

Do I qualify?

You are able to apply for a Good for Age entry into the 2017 Virgin Money London Marathon if you have run a full marathon in the same time, or faster than, the times listed below since 1 January 2015.

If you have achieved a Good for Age time as listed in the table below, you should not enter the 2017 Virgin Money London Marathon via the public ballot entry system.

Greater Manchester Marathon results

Following the announcement that the course used for the Greater Manchester Marathon in 2013, 2014 and 2015 was 380m short of the 26.2-mile distance, London Marathon Events Ltd has reviewed its Good for Age qualification process.

London Marathon Events Ltd will continue to accept times recorded in the Greater Manchester Marathon in 2015 for Good for Age time qualification for the 2017 Virgin Money London Marathon, with the following conditions:

• For runners UNDER the age of 70, two minutes will be added to the official finish time
• For runners OVER the age of 70, three minutes will be added to the official finish time

How do I apply?

Applications for 2017 Virgin Money London Marathon ‘Good for Age' entries are now open. Please apply via the ‘apply now’ button below. The deadline to apply is 20 June at 17:00.

Please be aware that once you have applied, we will be checking your application and, if accepted, we will send you an email confirming your login details and a link to allow you to complete and pay for your entry.

You will receive this email no later than 20 June by 17:00. If you have not received either an acceptance or rejection email by that date please call our helpdesk on 020 7902 0200.

The closing date for completing and paying for your entry (if accepted) is 30 June at 17:00.
