Dean and Gillian Carr both win at Tiree Half

Dean and Gillian Carr were racing in beautiful Tiree this weekend at their half marathon and both won - Gillian first woman overall as well as first vet (10th overall) and Dean was first MVet and 5th overall. Fab runs and big congratulations.

Dean's ummary:
Sunny but blustery day, the course was mainly flat with a few lumpy bit, but coming from Peebles found that no problem. Race started with a rampage along the beach before joining the road after a mile. I felt really good and settled into good pace and felt that miles still by. Great community run event and a lively ceilidh afterwards. Nice for both of us to get on the podium.
