Fantastic results from the National Masters Cross Country Championships in Johnstone with Carol Moss winning the W55 title and Mike Goodard finishing 7th in M70.Amazing runs by both in an event which goes from strength to strength.

1 week after running so well at the borders xc league at Hawick, Carol attended the Scottish national masters xc champs at Johnson, near Hamilton.
On a grassy, convoluted 4 mile (ish) grassy course (ie really boring but hideously fast!!) and in poor weather, Carol unleashed her best running for years. 14th overall (103 finishers), she was 1st over 55, only 6s behind Peebles Sue Ridley (1st over 50) and ca 2.5m behind the winner, Heather Anderson (won in 25:35) of FifeAC
Another great mark in her outstanding season off road.
