A small band of intrepid Moorfooters headed into the border backwaters this weekend to take part in this years Lilliesleaf trail 10k. Its a village hidden away in the countryside somewhere near Selkirk !!!. The race itself could be one of the Borders XC races hilly, muddy and very challenging it was also a bit longer then a 10k it was 10.8 k!!!!!.
I really enjoyed it and has set me up nicely for the Borders League next month. After the race there has soup and ample cakes and some excellent handcrafted medals for the finishers.
Rosey had a great race coming third lady. Well done to Dorien who arrived at the race with seconds to spare and had to perform a sprint start !!!!
Does anyone have a dog I could borrow for next year to try and win the runner with dog category !!!!!
