Scottish Athletics Award for Jacob

Congrats to Jacob Adkin who has followed in big sis Scout's footsteps by being presented with the Eddie Campbell Memorial Medal at the Scottish Athletics Awards Dinner last night. The medal is for consistent and outstanding achievement in junior hill running. Jacob is 4 from 4 Under-20 selections for GB in the last two years' European and World Championships, contributing to team medals in three of the four, and finishing 6th and 8th respectively in this year's events. He has also won the Scottish U20 Championship for the last two years. Sadly, he didn't don the kilt. If only his sprint finish was as sharp as his suit! (With Hugh Buchanan, Hill Running Convener.)
