Peebles Outdoor Film Festival Run with Nicky Spinks to White Meldon

As part of the Peebles Outdoor Film Festival there was a run with Nicky Spinks -

In May 2016, the inspirational Nicky Spinks made fell running history by becoming the fastest person to run a Double Bob Graham Round. The 49-year-old cancer-survivor marked 10 years post-diagnosis by running the 132-mile Lake District route, which included around 54,000ft of ascent, in a time of 45 hours and 30 minutes. Nicky previously held the woman's records for the three classic hill running records in England, Scotland (overall record) and Wales before Jasmin Paris broke them all in 2016. You can watch her film in full here online: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2ABR30IHlq4

The run unfortunately clashed with the Peebles Cross Country but 4 Moorfoots were able to act as guides and helpers on the run - Colin, Kenny, Pete and Rosie, accompanied by Nicky and 8 others. The 9 route went over to White Meldon via Neidpath and back via Hamilton Hill. Route: https://www.strava.com/activities/848270834
We lucked out on the weather compared to the day before and some very good feedback from those taking part.
