"Very well organised race on what could/should be a classic hill race that will hopefully become much more popular in the years to come. I started steady at the front, then started pushing on ahead before turning onto the main path to the summit. Reached the summit with a good gap and just made sure I kept it on the technical descent. Really fun race with great support from marshals and lots of the other people on the hill which was nice! Felt really good to be back racing after 4 months out of it!"
