Gillian and Lucy Oldham and myself made the short hop over to Broughton to take part in the Dash 2020. Starting outside the brewery (after stringent kit checks) we ran to the primary school, jumped the wall sprinted across the playground, waddle over the burn, splooshed through the bog before a nice steep bracing walk up the steep hill then on rounding the shepherds crook and rapido decent back to the village hall.
Hot soup and rolls were a welcome post race treat as was a free beer each. Gillian also come first female V40 so Lucy and I were gifted with some more beer !!!!!
