Club Champs Update 09/07

 Apologies for the lack of updates over the last weeks holidays and work taking up some of my time so here's a round up of whats been happening and the current league table...

In June we had the Black Rock 5 which Dean, Gillian, Colin and Peter (who debuted at the event) took park.  From what I can remember it was another fine summers evening, but there was a bit of a lack of water at the rock this year so not too much of a soaking as previous years.

Next was the Seven Hills of Edinburgh in which Dean and Tim took part.  It was a roaster of a day !!!!.  It was 18 years since I last done it and I remember why its bloody hard going !!!!!

Closer to home we had the Eildon Hill Race Classic in which Colin, Danny, Hamish and Coxy took part in.

Finally this was week we had another wee gem of a hill race The Earlston Black hill race.  Colin, Coxy, Ian Munro and Sam (making his debut) on a very wet night.  It would have 5 racers from the club had someone not missed the start and had to settle with a burger and a spot of spectating.

This Tuesday we have a club favourite at the Moffat Festival Run (entries available on the night !!!!) and the obligatory visit to the Moffat chippy  !!!!

At the coming weekend we have 2 races in the Lee Pen Hill race and the Kelso 10k.  Lots of points up for grabs so get out there and run !!!
