Pic - Dave outsprinting the local ladies at IdleThe 'Idle 10k trail race' is run on the outskirts of Leeds. The course was quite flat for the first three miles two miles being along the towpath of the Leeds/Liverpool canal but once away from the canal, miles four and five where quite tough and hilly over trails and footpaths. Mile six was flat on grass to the finish line. My time of 52-27 2nd in MV/60 category finished 114th out of 254 runners..
