First running of this race, hosted by Borders Sport & Leisure Trust, around the popular Viaduct Circuit in Peebles. A relatively low turn out of about 40-50 runners, but it was a late scheduled race and there were many folks still on holiday...good to see support from Gala Harriers, even if local runners were a bit thin on the ground.
A good win for Peebles regular Craig Mattocks in a time of 40:25, with Gala's Diane Lauder first Lady in 41:02.
Moorfoot Alan Elder (looking very brown from his holiday in France) took the V50 (SuperVet) prize (50:17)

Well done to BSLT - a well marked and marshaled course, and hopefully event will attract more runners in the future...
